- BLOB_UNKNOWN Blob Unknown This error MAY be returned when a blob is unknown to the registry in a specified repository. This can be returned with a standard get or if a manifest references an unknown layer during upload.
- BLOB_UPLOAD_INVALID Blob Upload Invalid The blob upload encountered an error and can no longer proceed, for example because the upload session state was invalid or a chunk was uploaded out of order.
- BLOB_UPLOAD_UNKNOWN Blob Upload Unknown If a blob upload has been cancelled or was never started, this error code MAY be returned when the upload session referenced by its ID is accessed.
- DENIED Denied The requested access to the resource was denied for an authenticated client, for example a push to a repository the client does not have write access to.
- DIGEST_INVALID Digest Invalid The digest used to reference the blob payload does not match the digest calculated from the content. This error MAY also be returned when a manifest includes an invalid layer digest.
- MANIFEST_BLOB_UNKNOWN Manifest Blob Unknown A manifest references a blob (layer or config) that is unknown to the registry, meaning the referenced blob has not been successfully uploaded.
- MANIFEST_INVALID Manifest Invalid During upload, manifests undergo several checks ensuring validity. If those checks fail, this error code MAY be returned, accompanied by a detail structure indicating the specific validation failure.
- MANIFEST_UNKNOWN Manifest Unknown This error is returned when the manifest, identified by name and tag or digest, is unknown to the repository.
- NAME_INVALID Name Invalid Invalid repository name encountered, for example one that does not match the registry's naming rules or contains disallowed characters.
- NAME_UNKNOWN Name Unknown This is returned if the name used during an operation is unknown to the registry, meaning the repository itself does not exist.
- SIZE_INVALID Size Invalid When a layer is uploaded, the provided size does not match the uploaded content length.
- TOOMANYREQUESTS Too Many Requests Returned when a client attempts to contact a registry too many times, exceeding a configured rate limit, such as Docker Hub's anonymous pull-rate limit.
- UNAUTHORIZED Unauthorized The access controller denied access for the operation on a resource. This is returned with a 401 status and a WWW-Authenticate header describing how to authenticate.
- UNSUPPORTED Unsupported The operation was unsupported due to a missing implementation or invalid set of parameters.
