- 1 API Unknown An unspecified internal error occurred while processing the Graph API request. Usually transient; retry the request.
- 2 API Service The Graph API service is temporarily unavailable, typically due to an internal Facebook outage or maintenance. Retry with backoff.
- 4 API Too Many Calls The application has reached its request rate limit. Reduce call volume or implement exponential backoff before retrying.
- 10 Permission Denied The request was denied because of Facebook Platform policies, rather than a missing OAuth permission. Review the Platform Policy for the endpoint being called.
- 17 User Too Many Calls The user (rather than the app as a whole) has made too many calls in a given period. Slow down requests made on behalf of this user.
- 100 Invalid Parameter A required parameter is missing or a supplied parameter has an invalid value, type, or format for the endpoint being called.
- 190 Invalid OAuth Access Token The access token used in the request has expired, been revoked, or is otherwise invalid — commonly because the user changed their password, logged out, or Facebook invalidated the session for security reasons. Reported with error type OAuthException; the app must re-run the login flow to obtain a new token.
- 200 Permissions Error The request requires an OAuth permission that the app does not currently have for this user, such as a missing scope granted at login.
- 341 Application Limit Reached The action could not be completed because the application or user has hit a Facebook-imposed feature limit, such as posting too much content in a short period.
- 368 Action Deemed Abusive The action attempted has been flagged by Facebook as abusive or otherwise disallowed by policy, and the app or user has been temporarily blocked from performing it.
- 506 Duplicate Post The exact same status message or content has already been posted, and Facebook rejects the duplicate to prevent spam.
- 613 Custom Rate Limit Calls to this particular Graph API endpoint have exceeded a custom, endpoint-specific rate limit distinct from the general application rate limit.
